Looks very similar to the HKS but in that pic it looks like that exhaust has fitment issues. That thing stick way out the back of the bumper.

It's supposed to stick out like that. It's not a fitment issue.
They designed it like that so you dont get carbon build up on your bumper.
I used to have that and it's a pretty good system for the price.

dude take my advice i HAVE that EXACT exhaust, and it REALLY was a bad idea for me to buy it. Ive already had to replace the DP and fitment was terrible, already had to have muffler rewelded because of too much angle and the intermediate pipe hangs extremely LOW to the ground(which i also have to get rewelded for fitment issues) Yeah the price is awesome! but RNR has poor service. My advice buy the rnr axleback or catback then piece the rest together, like rnr catback, megan catdelete, and helix DP or somthing like that...

Good luck , Travis

i have it on my car, only thing was that it took a bit of time to get here but since you have a newer car fitments probably going to be off, but my other 3 friends with evo's in my town say the love it way better then megan, regular hks, basic rnr exhausts. Personally i think mine sounds more mean too

Im sorry to be piling on Ryan(rnr), however I am in the same boat. Im upset because we spoke on the phone and you guranteed fitment on my nine. I attempted to put my RNR exhaust on my nine this past thursday. Nothing but fitment issues, pipes needed a spreader(no biggie), hangers were off(big problem), was WAY to long, I specifically asked/told ryan to shorten it because I have the JDM bumper, it wasnt even close about four(4) inches to long? I had to drill out Cat converter holes on flange becuase it didnt fit on, not fun drilling thick stainless steel... IF i coulda got it on it woulda banged against my hotchkis swaybar, it was shifted to the drivers side about 3 inches to far. So here I am stuck wondering what to do. Should I take it to a muffler shop to torch four inches off the exhaust somewhere, cut off the hangers, weld the muffler directly to the pipes. I cannot exchange this or return it because I had it powdercoated. Just to clarify, this is just the catback exhaust from rnr, like/unlike travis, I was going to buy the catback and piece the turbo-cat parts together, hehe. I figured the catback portion would be fine and easy as there isnt to much that can not fit. I thought I would be able to fix any fitment issues. I just couldnt fix these more major ones without a plasma torch and welder. Im hoping an exhaust shop will help me out and fix everything and install it. IMO buy something that will definately fit or you will end up spending more money, and be frustrated. I purchased this after someone reviewed it and said it fit perfectly on a IX, imo it doesnt. I will say the welds are ok, quality of steel is good, Ryan is a nice guy. After spending ~400 for just the catback I am looking at another $200 for a garage to make it work just for catback. Installing a catback should take no longer then 1 hour with cig and beer breaks...a friend and I wrestled with this thing for 4 hours, and still couldnt get it to go.

I have this system and am very happy with it in all aspects. I havent put the downpipe on yet, but my friend has the same system and he said he didn't have any fitment issues with the downpipe. My midpipe has about 5" of clearance from the ground and about an inch of clearance from my rear sway bar, and I'm lowered on swift springs. I've had no rattles or anything like that. Keep in mind almost all aftermarket catbacks hang a lot lower than stock, at least the ones I've seen on my friends evo's. The hangers were the only things I had to adjust to get the catback to fit perfectly. My tip sticks out the perfect amount, about 3/4", the length of the burnt tip. On a JDM bumper you would probably have to shorten it a few inches to look right.

I might buy it because they live a couple of miles from me. The HKS exhaust sounds very nice, makes good power and supposebly the RNR is a true 3" unlike the real HKS system (2.75)....

Here's mine... It's just the catback only.... has a great sound and fitment was great. If your worried about DP fitment, just buy the catback!

Well I just bought a JIC full SS catback. It looks very similar to that exhaust but it angles out much more and it has one 15 degree bend in it. Everything else is straight back. My bumper does not melt and it doesn't build up any carbon because it fits perfectly. For $520 shipped I could not go wrong. IMO JIC is much more reputable on an evo than rnr.
