Highest Insurance Quote

Was thinking of buying an Evo, to bring back to ireland when I'm finished working in the US, as it would cost the equivalent of $60000 to get one there.
With 10 years driving experience, just one speeding ticket, the best quote I can get for it is $9500 a year.

Anyone beat that??
Think I'll have to get a bicycle instead........

i've heard of people paying as low as ~$1,500 per year on the EVO. I could have been lied/exaggerated to, but it seems that the ins. on the EVO isn't so bad. Definitely not in the 9,000 territory.

Check out Costco/American Express casualty for those w/ a Costco membership.

I just switched from Allstate and the price savings are amazing. The Evo costs me ~$325 /6mths. Now, this is the 'third' car, being driven for 'pleasure' for less than '10,000 miles/yr'.

Just to clear it up, that $9500 quote was for ireland.
I got a quote for 1300 in the US.

Slight difference..........

I pay $1400 a year for insurance....for My Evo, my Mini, and my apartment combined. Thats nut too bad. This combined policy still comes out less than it cost to insure my previous Type R alone.

Mine cost $800 per year for full cover since it's a second car. If I got only one car I'll need to pay $1700 for full cover.

I'm with AAA, got 1 ticket on record, with 10 years of driving expr, and is a single male.

Perhaps your $9000 is a typo? It should be $900 right??

Anyways, good luck!
