A'PEX Super Grounding System worth $160?

Been looking at a few grounding systems, Sun, Apexi and found the Apexi for $160. Apparently they have a test showing a 9hp increase on a Del Slow. Seems like a nice overall package, not having ground wires all over the engine bay.

As I understand it, the unit works similar to a capacitor in a car audio system. Smoothing out the voltage to the car. Anyone have any experience with this unit? I have searched and found little in the way of reviews and such.

Thanks guys!

waste of money, your engine is already grounded as it is anyway

You should get 2 and install both at once for ultimate in grounding!! The more grounds the better!!! Ok, no, they're worthless.

I remember some car mag posted a 12hp gain in a turbo dsm but they also claimed it had been in a previous engine fire.

I don't see it giving you any performance increase, but it will smoothen out your electrical system.

if your gonna do one go, and get like 5 or 6 feet of 4 guage wire and like 10-15 ring terminals and make your own. i did it and it cost me like $25 and and for that if it does something great and if it doesn't then your only out $25 and its no big deal.

Ground is ground. An electrical circuit is either grounded, or it's not. The electrons don't care if your ground wire is pretty or not.
