Flash if you want to optimize, but it's not required.

You are in CA with 91 OCT gas... I would ask you tuner.... To be safe, I would get reflashed again but I would get customized tuning instead of mail order... That way you can be assured of how your car is running.... If you had access to 93 OCT gas like here in PA.... I would have passed another reflash....

I would reflash just because of the test pipe. I had Al flash my car after 280 cams...and like an idiot didn't take the high flow cat off at that time. I waited two weeks and switched it than, and when he reflashed my car the air fuel was dramatically different. It sounds weird that just the cat removal would do this...but the numbers suggested it was a good thing I had him reflash. Just my experience...and by the way I gained 12 horse and 8 torque at the wheels, just from the delete pipe.

thanks alot guys...this question was actually for my friend who is out to sea right now...i think he is going to pass on the flash because he is getting his turbo kit put on in Sept...if he runs into any problems he will just reflash...
I already have a test pipe and i did notice a big difference with it. i am waiting on my cams then getting a flash...so i am pretty stoked
anyway thanks for the advice all
