buschur makes cheaper parts that produce good power! but with ams you pay for the looks and quality with the parts! It comes down to what parts you want to put on your $30k car... I myself would rather pay the extra and have it look good and perform! AMS all the way
Didn't realize there was a specific order of cams, fmic, etc... Sounds like propoganda to me.
Anyways, it matters not who is faster or who has more hp. Unless you have 20K to spend on your car and want it to be THE fastest and most powerful then it really means diddly squat to who owns what record.
Research, ask questions, compare prices and most importantly of all....ask YOURSELF what you want the outcome of your car to be.
And just for sh*ts and giggles, I'm an AMS fan.

I have bought part from Buschur for my old Talon and shipping was very fast,. got it like 1-2 day.
Costomer service was awesome too.
I have never purchase from AMS so I dont really know what to say about AMS.
But they both have very good reputation here.

Just my two cents but really you can't go wrong with AMS or Buschur both great shops with a great staff of people.
The thing that is very important is with a built motor it is probably wise to pick a shop that is close to you as you will need their support with tuning etc. etc.
Call get prices, compare see which one you feel more comfotable with but remember compare apples to apples to be fare.
Like I said these are two very good first class shops and who holds the record in the 1/4 mile for this moment in time has nothing to do with anything and stay away from people who jump ship each time one breaks a record or offer advice because of their personal gains or assocations with a shop or because thay got their car built there or bought parts from this shop or that shop.
Kinda like I like the Yankees and you like Boston but whoever wins the worlds series is my team. Just banwagon people.
If it's between these two shops you can"t loose.
Good luck

For building motors....Buschur....they build sheps motor
Turbo Kits....Buschur.....Dave Dynotested a moose once just to make sure it didnt make more power(joke)
Tuning....Buschur.....Im fairly certain no private shop owner in the evo community has spent more time infront of a dyno than Dave
Intercoolers,cams, etc...your decision
This is just my opinion

Buschur! I can't tell you how many times I have spoken to Dave, Jarrod, Nick, and Dan on the phone and each and every time I call they are helpful.
Dave has helped me out tremendously throughout my 5 years of dealing with the Buschur company. Its a relationship that I look forward to having with the Buschur team for many years to come.
I'm happy and proud to say I have Buschur parts on my car. When people ask whats done to the car I tell them its a Buschur sponsored car, smile, and wink while saying it.

we'll ive never been to the Buschur shop, but before we decided to build my car we checked out 3 or 4 diffrent shops across the country and to me AMS was the nicest, and had the friedliest staff. I am very happy with the outcome the car and the quality of work i received. The staff at AMS is amazing and is always avaiblable to answer questions. My vote would have to be with AMS, but i have never heard anything bad about the BR camp...soo its personal preference!!
