My IX shakes as well. There really is no reason for it to shake other than bolts being loose.

Torque it down to spec.

Does any of you with this problem have upgraded motor mounts or other chassis mods?

I installed/uninstalled and installed/uninstalled two sets of Recaro SRD's in my previous car - a 2001 Cobra. The seat tracks on our Recaros are the same style track I had in the Cobra. I am sure you back off the bolts and pop them loose, then re-tighten them. Recaro's thread lock they use is not that hard to break. Make sure you have a set of allen wrench bits in metric that fit a ratchet and do this. You can get the bolts really tight with a ratchet, but they strip easily, so dont overtighten. Recaro's hardware is pretty cheap really, but their seat tracks are solid as hell once they are put together. This may solve the problem instead of ordering new seat rails.

The passenger seat of my IX MR has shaken at freeway speeds since the day I bought it 4 months ago. Car is bone stock. I guess I have gotten used to it because it doesn't bother as much now. If it can be fixed by tightening bolts, that would be great.

I never noticed anything like that on my '04 RS, which is a heavily modified track day car.

I guess its another thing along with intercooler pipe blow offs that I will enjoy with the RS

I have had many cars and the only one to do this is my integra. But thats because I have Recaro SPG fiberglass and my car shakes at idle due to the stiff suspension.

I have this problem only VERY occasionally and I only really notice it when the passengr seatbelt is twisted so one part touches the shaking seat and the other part touches the plastic cabin wall causing a ratling sound. It doesnt really bother me. I dont think you should be looking at your passenger seat instead of the road while at highway speeds anyway

WTF? I thought it was just me. I hear everything in my car and when I noticed a bit of a squeak or somehing I look over and my seat was shaking a bit. It does not bother me anymore and besides I think it's mostly the side bolsters on the leather rubbing on the console. That is what the SSL package is for turn it up and forget about it.

Guess I was not only one with this issue. My passenger seat shake since day 1, which doesn't bother me anymore.
