Lancer changes?

Hawaii International Car show
What I learned from the Mitsubishi representative at the new car show in Hawaii was this:
Lancer Evolution model will come to US, Jan 2003
It will be 300+ HP, faster than JDM Spec.
It will retail for around $30,000
It will be limited edition, only 4000 being produced.
Only 24 will be shipped to Hawaii.
If the Representative didn't know what the hell he was talking about, that I don't know. Sounds reasonable though. (300+ HP would only be capable in US, japan limits HP). Just thought I'd add some thoughts.

Emissions was never a problem, well, maybe for CA it might be.
The problem was with the FMIC.
The power on the Evo is also dependent on the type of gas used.
If using 92 octane, the power is ok but when you use 100 octane, the power really increases a lot.
