if the only choice would be an Evo 7RS 2 with AYC i would test drive the STI because i really don t like AYC

so maybe rather an STI than an RS2 with AYC thats my opinion
As long as i can buy an Evo RS i am happy.

regards

if people here thourght the sti was better then the evo there wouldnt be any members in a evo based forum.... its like being in a ice-cream forum and asking whats better gum or ice-cream. people arnt gonna rush to their computers and say gums better. of course there might be gum spies in the forum trying to peruade icecream fans to join the gum commision but that probably wouldnt happen. . maybe in a real strange exotic country full of gum hooligans.

Which brings us back to the question, "Uh, got any gum?" This thread has gone full circle.

unfortunately, the question of evo vs sti will not be answered in the US until both of it comes here. But look at UK, in every other tests, evo is better than sti. we just have to wait and see until it comes then every US mag will be comparing it not just sti but all other worthy competitors of this make.

You bow to supporting the kids, the morgage and the ever loving wife... but at least you dare to dream.

Why don't you find the forums for MLR (major loosers racing)

AWD = traction = Speed 1/4 or whatever. I plan to put my EVO use 1/4 mile and SCCA Solo 2 racing from which I am a member, but you would probably not know what that is... You can use the car for what you want probably spanking it from a wall poster in your office!

Did it take you a while to some up with that snazzy one liner (MLR, HAH!) Anyways, lets not get testy here. First of all you posted information that was COMPLETELY WRONG. STi cheaper that EVO?! STi out SOONER that EVO!? The EVO will not run 12's stock! Maybe I miss understood this one, but still if it is the same engine, why would the evo post times a full second quicker stock?! Maybe Im also misaken here but when did they start making you install a roll cage and starter kill switch for a 13.9 car? That rule was never in affect when I was 1/4 miling my RX7 at those same numbers. As for the last sentence of your statemen, I am not even going to reply to that one! That made absolutely no sense at all.

So lets end this "I know you are but what am I?..." witty bantor right now.

By the way, Im really happy for you that you are in the SCCA.

Nick, yes I will own an EVO, yes I Can afford it, yes I am a Design Engineer, yes that does make me a desk jocky, yes that is better than working at home depot!

sorry claud,

but according to resources, boy_tapper has nothing much between his belt... so money is his only choice!
