Exhaust, boost controller, reflash. Save the rest for insurance, gas, and tires.

What are your goals?

I'm happy to help, but can you explain why you didn't spend a few hours searching first, especially when you pointed out that you KNOW the questions has been asked and answered a million times? It's like going to the DMV, waiting in line for an hour, then getting to the counter and saying "I know that all of the instructions for what I need to bring with me are on the website, but I just didn't bother to look, so can you tell me what I need and help me get my registration?"

this is just askin for ownage.

i second the idea of calling a tuner and getting his suggestions. them maybe u can post the suggestions from the tuner on this board for discussion.

search a bit around here...u'll find enough info to keep u busy for weeks, if not months.

I can understand the brand loyalty, but I think you should spend some time looking at other peoples cars that are doing what you would like to do with your car.

There are a lot of great parts out there for your ride and some great prices, but your question is really too vague to be answered.

I think with 5500 you can make a solid car that will have excellent street manors.

Your price also doesn't tell us if you're going to install the parts yourself.

That being said here is what I would do.

Megan tbe - 550
Comp cam 280 - 450
Fuel pump - 85
Arp headstuds - 100
Halman mbc - 85
Ebay o2 housing - 85
Forge bov - 180
Smc alky - 500
Act hdss - 475
Custom reflash - 450

That right there is a little under 3 grand and with proper driving at sea level will go 11s all day long, still handle great on the stocker suspension, utilize the stock turbo for quick spool up, and look sleeper as hell.

Hope this helps.

Edit: forgot licp so add 200 bucks or so, and maybe add a mani for another few hundred if you really wanted to (I wouldn't)
