Finally some EVOs have arrived (somewhat) locally. This is at the Hickory NC store famous for the "EVO IIs" The salesman was classic. He informed me it boosted to 19psi (rounded from 18.4...I'll give him that), but that it jumped to 21psi when you ran the intercooler sprayer (or, in his words "when you spray". Not what I call "spray"). If I was to install "the HKS kit" I would have over 500hp. In its stock form it is faster than a Z06 and will run 170mph. But he was a nice guy without the typical salesman sleeziness, so I'll chalk it up as uninformed.

My first impression was quite a surprise. I've been reading about it's sub par interior compared to the impreza. WOW. Who the heck says that? It isn't up to the level of my C5 (IMO of course), but definitely on par with an imprezza. Seats are just fabulous. Steering wheel size, pedal, and shifter location seem ideal. When I shut the doors (with VERY little force), they have a more solid feel than my scooby. Back seat is comparable to my WRX, but I didn't pay that much attention to it. The adjustable HIDs were a nice touch (had to play for a bit).

I'm not a fan of wings or body kits, but the wing is better in person than pics. My only exterior gripe is the 1"+ too large exhaust tip.

No test drive (didn't ask, was in a hurry), but they are asking sticker; $30,800 (sunroof )
