yeah ive got an evo 8 and when i floor it, it doesnt really go. when i first got it i put an afc2 in it. the knock function never worked right. i dont have the afc anymore. ive now got a turbo xs utec. i was wondering though if maybe the wire shorted out on the afc and screwed up my knock sensor. ive had a couple ppl tell me it sounded like my clutch and i even had one guy tell me it sounded like a timing problem. anybody got any ideas or know what it could be???

 

Get a scanner and Check the ignition timming, it takes like 5 mins. but your MIL would be on if you knock sensor was shorted. I think i You should find a dyno and tune your car professonaly.
