boost gauge = screwed up evo

I tried to hook up my greddy boost gauge , 60 mm warning gauge, and the wireing just wasn't making the gauge work i tried hooking it up to the radio wires which should have worked but it didnt i guess something is wrong with the control box , i took all the wireing for the gauge out and left when i come back to my car for some reason my keyless entry won't unlock the doors so i figured it was just a glitch so i open the door turn the car on drive it around for awhile after i reset my radio and everything and let my tt run the car. when ever i get back into the car , again the keyless entry doesn't work and my lights wont turn on the inside door lock unlock button doesnt work but for some reason everything works when the key is in but after the tt counts down and turns the car off the radio resets, and after the car is off its like the battery is disconnected nothing on the car works ......

disconnect the negative battery terminal, and let it sit disconnected for a few mins. afterward reconnect and reset your radio. i would figure everything should be a ok from there. also if you have any bare wiring exposed and its touching anything else this could be the problem also. electric tape it all off. that should solve your problem.

And, if that doesn't work, well, you've gotten into the SWS (simplified wiring system) of the car. There are three computers (4 with a sunroof) that control these functions. Only the dealer is going to have the equipment to diagnose what is wrong.

that's why i tapped my TT wiring harness for my boost gauge power wires and left the factory wiring alone except the light of course.

you definitaly blew a fuse. if you have to reset the radio stations, you blew the fuse to the radio. the constant power fuse to the radio should be blown. check that first. also double check your ground wire. just because a wire is black doesnt mean that it is a (-)negative wire. try using the wires from the cigarette lighter instead. check and double check.

you dont "need" to disconnect the battery. that is just a precaution. you will need to test your wiring FIRST then make connections.

good luck.
