Header for a 9 question

Will a header for an 8 work for a 9? Its the one evo sam is selling here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=222299

I did some searching but no luck. please let me know because I am going to buy it this week if it works and dont have 150 to throw away...

The full race header is the only one proven to make power with the stock turbo. Get a dynoflash if you want more power.

Thats not true, a megan header and o2 housing combo makes about 22 hp over stock with the proper suppourting mods (reflash for mods, TBE)

Not as good as a ported stock manifold, but yes of course the manifolds are the same for the 8 and 9.

You'd be much better of using that money towards a tune, though...

Sorry guys i have not updated my mods list, I have a flash already and ran a 12.2 so i am looking to try to get into the high 11's sooner than later, and i do have an o2 housing to got with this.

Then update your sig, crazy man!

In this case, you are doing very well with the right mods and are going in a good direction, but you'll get 11s sooner from using race gas and high boost than with small parts inching your way there. The o2 is a good idea, and a stock ported/coated manifold is a good idea, but that used tubular header in the link is the type that is known to crack.
