I brought my car into sound advice to install speakers and now there telling me that the speakers need baffles or something like rings to install the speakers.
Do i need this or are they bull******* me

It's possible. Are you talking about the door speakers? If so it's possible because if the speaker sits too deep it could hit the window when it's all the way down and the "rings" or spacers will make the speaker sit off the door, if there is enough room between the door panel and the actual door, to allow the window to go down. Like I said that is if it is the door speakers you are talking about.
