Finally, we have closure. The GM, indeed misread the stock number and quoted me a price on an RS. :-) Glad I did not drive up there and hear that, I was able to sort it out via e-mail.
The dealer was East Providence Mitsu BTW. I was keeping my lips sealed incase I found a gem. :-)

Tell them this, on the phone: `` When I get there, if this price changes in any way, as you have given. I will press charges for false advertisement. I have recorded your voice on the phone and you are now obligated to sell me that car at the price given to me. ``
