Hehe, I never had much doubt that you were a girl...the user name Cecilia has something to do with it!! There was the boy named Sue though, so you can never be too sure!?

All joking aside though, I think you are one of the few female EVO owners/enthusiasts out there, so welcome and congrats!

Like it or not, I think the EVO is a decidedly guy type car. That said I think most guys will respect you for being a female EVO owner, but they aren't going to cut you much slack or give you special treatment when you post about superficial add-ons for your EVO. Instead they are going to whack you like they would any other guy posting about the same stuff. Personally I doubt you are looking for special treatment,and just want to be treated like everyone else.

Most EVO owners (including me) view their cars as serious street-legal race machines, and are not hip to spending money on things that don't make their cars handle better, or run faster. Most seem to dislike the juvenile "Ricer" image as well, and will go out of their way to defend the EVO as a rally-bred, non-ricer performance car.

This means that questions about graphics and underlights will be met with some level of ridicule and disbelief. I figure to each their own, and if you want graphics and underlights on your EVO then you should go for it! Just brace yourself when you ask certain kinds of questions;-)

i had the same problem with my 01 prelude Sh, I ended up not putting the front one, it still looked allright. I personally think it will look alright. Eventually there will be more of these on the roads and I for one will want mine to be different. Is neons the answer, maybe maybe not, Will graphics be the answer maybe, maybe not. But I for one will be different. Am I riced out, NO All you people need to get off your high horses and help this chick install some under tubes.

Well considering the fact that having glowing neon's illegal in the first place.. and that Evo looks like a cop magnet by itself... if you add the 2 together.. a long with the "graphics" you're getting.. I think you might be pulled over A LOT. But then again, being a girl, you might be let off the hook 90% of the times..

 

Neons aren't illegal in New Mexico..... and the cop problem i wouldn't have a problem with that because i work with them....

In most states, at last in Kansas, you can have the neon's under your call as long as you don't see the bulb. Soon as the bulb is visable the cops will smack ya, and Missouri cops get all bent out of shape about them too. I liked the look of my red neon's on my OZ, but have since pulled them. Got tired of swerving around water puddles so they wouldn't get water in them and got an intake instead, much better addon.

And cecilia you need to chill out, no reason to go around *****ing because people assumed your a guy and not a girl
