So I was at a reception on Friday for a friend who just got appointed to the bench. The club was lousy with judges. I was talking to an old friend of my brother's, who's also a judge, and he asked me about my (former) Miata.

I explained that I no longer had it and that I now have this new car: "Have you ever heard of the Lancer Evolution?" He replied, "Oh, the Evo? Do you have the 8 or the 9?"

I cracked up. Told him it's a 9. Said I'd removed the spoiler for a while. "Why?" He asked. "You gotta have the spoiler." I wish all judges were as car-savvy.

 

Thats awsome, this reminds me of a cop that stopped us in a gsx....He asked "Rev it up for me" so we did...then he said "what does it do in the 1/4 mile" we told him "mid 11's" and he was like "not bad for a little rice burner" (I guess he called all import related car a rice burner) but we ended up getting out of a ticket!

 

back before the 240 craze we got stopped in my friends boosted ka by a stateboy.. his car had the silvia conversion back in 03 the cop said "well i just stopped you boys to see wtf kindof car this was"

 

What the judge conveniently left out was the phrase "I drive all the cars we confiscate."

 

I had been running without a cat and full 3 inch exhaust no resonators, super risky in CA. I got pulled over by a cop for no front plates. he just pretty much told me about what others were getting pulled over for and for me to be careful with what I do/have done to my car. He also advised "I'd put a silencer in that exhaust if I were you, I won't give you a ticket for it, but there are alot of guys out there that will". Some cops are really nice people. Most are jackasses.

 

Last time I got pulled over the Cop was asking me about the car and thought it was the Subaru. Funny guy.

 

Last time I got pulled over I had a gun pointed at me by two rookie *** cops.....go figure

The woman cop was ****ing shaking with her gun pointed at me....I was like "Oh hell no"

Apparently they were looking for four armed robbery suspects in a white van and I just happened to be in my moms van with four friends.......too bad they didn't realize they still had units chasing the real criminals before they started to play RoboCop with me...

****ing *******s didn't even apologize

 

I cruisin with a couple friends in the car, suddenly a cop is tailing me hard. He pulls around to the driver side and my buddies are telling me he's staring over. I rolled down my window and nodded. He asked me if my car was fast, I smiled and said ya its ok. By the talk I thought he was going to ask me to race, hehe. We cruised talking a bit and he finally said "I have one". I thought I was getting ticketed for sure. Nice guy
