LOL Evo being a disease...

I do pity you guys (US) for missing out on the last 7 generations, good for you all the wait has finally ended. But you will find after owning it for 12 months the excitment kinda dies down like most things...I'm sure you will agree later that owning an Evo is no big deal

Cheers guys

This is from today's Expierence, I met a friend at school who had a EvoVIII, which I just found out. Kewl kid. Well I met him at a mall near school, and long story short he took me for a spin.

Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!
I've had dreams everynight driving this car! This is an amazing car, reminds me of the batman and robin the ride, or a sling shot with the amazing acceleration. He had his friend in the car so there was a lot of weight and still amazing. On the highway pulled hardest I thought in 4th gear. Acceleration was amazing all the way thought the gears, power until he let off. Even at 80MPH it was a damn Rocket car, and as the RPM's went past 5000RPM it started sounding like a Jet when your at the airport winding up. Just please do you self a favior and just look at picture on the internet.

Warning: If you wish not to follow my advice see for your self I'm sure that almost all owners can confirm this.

Muhahaha!!!! Now you understand why I want an Evolution, but I need to get promoted first. I told purecoda a similar story, I went for a ride in an Evolution back in the Philippines and OH MY GOODNESS!!! Thats how the whole "Evolution" obsession came about. The Lancer is the closest to the Evolution so I'm quite happy

The Evolution is more like an addictive drug.
The more you get the more you want.
It does not get better.
All day at work you can't wait to leave so you can get some.
It is an expensive habit.
It is a gateway drug.
Pretty soon it is not enough and you need more power.
Next thing you know you will be robbing banks to get more.
The only way to detoxify is to drive only Honda Civics for one year.

you guys are killing me. THREE MORE DAYS. I ordered silver/sunroof almost 4 weeks ago. It is all I can think of. The savings was worth the wait though. So far I have called my sales person 5 times in the past two days. I hope it is everything you guys say it is. I bought w/o seeing or test driving.

This disease that everyone is speaking of is real and it's not evoitis that's inflammation of the evolution. It's really called
being a habitual evolutionist or having a diseased evolutionist's mind. Betty Ford is now taking patients for this very thing, get
ready for evolution d.t.'s or detox. Now owning one, skibum's theory about haveing a civic Is outstanding.

Ah, Tarmac Black. I've got to see my doctor about this. Maybe my HMO will cover it and I'll only have to pay the $10 deductible.

Hi Lee, I agree with you that owning an Evo is no big deal.... there are always way faster cars out there.... perhaps it's just me but I miss driving my car on extended overseas trips. And with the new JDM Evo 8 most of my complaints have been addressed.

This is all to good. I could not even sleep the night before I went to get mine. It has not been long, but I'm sure it will die down after awhile. When it starts to die down I will add a body kit or something new to keep her alive. EVO=

My APEX Silver cure is due to arrive in May some time. I hope that is true, since I already sold my car and now I am down to a bicycle.

Crusty: little OT here but yeah, indeed there are much faster cars out there. I'm looking to return back to 2dr sport cars, a few of my RX7 mates are trying to convert me...rotar power LOL. Though I'd rather a JZA80, the 2JZ top end hauls. Seriously though the 350Z looks the goods, still alot more power to extract from the NA block plus local tuners already have TT setups available.

Inline with the thread...the Evo will always remain in the fleet

Cheers
