Question My oil temp gauge does not show 86.

I just purchased the Defi D Oil Temp gauge.

My guage is not even connected and the needle is showing 120 F. No electrical, no temp connections....just sitting here on my computer table. The needle doesn't move when you shake the gauge around or anything.

Do you think this is bad, or when the temp sensor is connected, it'll adjust?

thanks

It will reset itself after you install it.

install it and see what happens. probably just needs to be reset once you install it.

well...all Defi-D's are electrical gauges except for boost.
So if that's true, then it doesn't need to be "zeroed" out...only mechancial gauges needs to be zeroed out.

This is what I'm thinking now...so the electrical signal should override everything once installed.
