what size torx tip for 6spd?

I've noticed that that drain plug(tranny) for the mr's are not standard hex.

What size torx tip should I be looking for?

Thanks in advance.

man....you guys are no help.

I found it though.

For those of you with a mr, the tranny drain plug and fill plug is a 3/8 allen wrench.

A standard hex socket will not work so keep this in mind before you attempt to
change your tranny fluid.

can you take pics? I am curious as to the difference between the 5 -6 speeds. I wonder why they switched the plugs to allen keys (which are not torx as you originally stated) instead of using the regular drain bolts.

Yes I know, it's not a torx tip. It's a 3/8 allen key .

if a 3/8 fits you should be using a 10 mm. Very close but it's going to be metric
