How are the windows supposed to work?
Hey folks, had my windows screwed up a bit by a recent attempt to install some auto-close pieces with my alarm system (the shop had the wrong piece due to misinformation by the manufacturer, and we had to rip out the window components). I believe it's behaving incorrectly and wish to verify the behavior. The odd behaviors I've noticed are:
-After using an auto-down (one quick tap of the driver's window control down) and letting the window open completely, the window doesn't respond for a number of presses in the up direction. Eventually it starts to respond.
-While hitting auto-down, during the lowering of the window if I pull up on the switch the window immediately switches directions but does an "auto-up", i.e. it completely closes. If I tap down during that it goes all the way down... and I can keep doing this cycle forever it seems.
While the former I'm sure is screwy behavior, the latter could just be how things are. I drive an EVO IX. Would someone with a IX confirm if the latter window behavior is normal?
Thanks for reading the essay
