correct me if im wrong but arent you going for INconspicuous ? since youre trying to hide it ? the thread title says conspicuous. looks clean though

It's awesome. 2 totally different cars. The IS is faster, but this one is a lot of fun to drive.

of course it is faster, the evo is stock. I have a stock IS300 and would want to go the same route when my warranty expires next year. but if the new IS500 comes that might change my plans. good luck and enjoy your evo. did you break the news at my.IS? I'm sure they will all be ecstatic

Na, I haven't "broken the new" yet. I don't plan to either. Tsops would be stalking me trying to find out what's under the hood.

In my opinion, if you wanted to modify the ISX, stick with the IS300. GTE block will toast the newer ones. You're talking about super high compression aluminum blocks vs a low compression cast iron block. Push any sort of meaningful boost in one of those blocks and my bet is that it'll pop.
