And I already miss the car. I dropped it off last night, and drove away. It hurt, bad. The car represents three years of track events and fun weekends. Not to mention the friends I have here in NC and on the forums.

I will own another some-day, but for now, the wifey and I decided to reduce our cars by one, and let her daily drive something new. Here is what we are going to order, I think you all will agree, it is something of the same heritage as Evos.

It no where near the rs4 but I had a b6s4 before the evo and loved it. Only thing I didnt like is the gas consumption.

 

Evo's will come and go.... wife's are here to stay (hopefully). Excellent move on your part!

 

There is another reason.....she will be 3 soon.

don't be fooled, this will be the result of consolidating several car payments into one. Since my company helps with my car, that will help too.

 

That is one sexy car! Nice move! Although I know it must have sucked to get rid of the Evo, at least you're moving to a car with great performance/comforts etc. Nothing wrong with a 420hp v8. On paper i's quicker stock than a IX, but for double the price, it should be

 

Without Audi's Quattro technology dominating WRC there might never have been an Evo. You're just getting back to the basics.
