That was 6 months ago and I spent $1400 to get inspected... I'm still waiting for my check that I doubt will come

What did you have to do to the car that costs $1,400 to pass inspection?

I decided that since I made the trip anyway, I may as well see what deal I can get. They then said that they could have it in 2 days because it was on a different lot. So, I decided, fine, lets see what happens.

We were negotiating prices and we finally agreed on a price. Then they come back with the papers to sign, and they have me start signing it. As I am reading the contract over, they tell me that they need to jack up the price by $2k!!!! Luckily, I didnt sign anything. I said this is not the price we agreed on. Then they tell me that they cant get the color that I wanted for about a week or 2, but I can pay for them to paint another that color. WTF is that?? So now I am lied to many times. But I figure if I can get the color I want, I will wait the 1 or 2 weeks.

They finally come down to the price that we previously agreed upon. Then I was OK with it, BUT I also told them prior to negotiations that I would be taking the $500 owners loyalty and the $500 college grad discount. I clearly stated that this would come off of the price that we negotiate making the car $1000 cheaper. They said no problem. Then they come back out yet again trying to screw me over on this. They say they cant do it now. I told them that they arent dealing with an idiot. This doesnt even come out of their pockets, this comes directly from Mitsubishi. The manager even came out and started yelling at me trying to play that 'good cop, bad cop' crap. This is when I told them that they just lost my business and they would never get my business.

You just explained why they bs'd you on the phone. You went there and bought a car even though they bs'd you. If people would just walk out when they found out they were bs'd they wouldn't do it anymore. It's all just to get the sale.

I bought a new turbotrix stage 2 Evo ix MR from brad a little over two months ago. The car itself is amazing. I really can't say enough about the performance. On the other hand, the price they initially ask for Evos, whether they have mods on them or not, is incredibly high compared to what I hear they are going for other places. The sticker on my car was 42k before ttt lol. I am close to people at the dealer and did not have to pay nearly that but what it comes down to is the amount the dealership thinks the Evos are worth. Walking around the dealership you will find that most of the MR IXs are marked up nearly 3k OVER sticker. Now something to consider is that this added money may be there to only be negotiated away.

But what it comes down to is that you can probably get an Evo shipped here from some other state and put the mods on yourself. But I cannot stress enough how nice it feels to have 340 warrantied horse power. Knowing that I am not risking large sums of money when I get on the gas (from potentially voiding a warranty or even knowing that the mods on the car are the right ones/done right for keeping the car from blowing up) is worth the extra one or two thousand you may end up paying. I highly recommend a Brad Benson/ Turbo trix Evo to anyone who wants their Evo IX to have some extra performance (+ 50 hp) over stock while completely keeping their peace of mine. If you plan on voiding the warranty with a large amount of mods anyway, get the cheapest new evo you can find.

I bought my IX MR from there for 38 out the door, and I also plan to get a Turbo Trix Package through them because it will be fully warrantied. You don't have to buy the package right away when you buy the car.

I've been going to them since 93 (my older brother bought a 93 eclipse, my gf bought her 03 eclipse, I bought an 05 STi from there) and when I told them that, they treated me with nothing but respect. I feel bad for the people that had a bad experience with the price negotiations, but what did you expect from them??? A car SALESMAN is a car SALESMAN.

Someone on here also bashes them for not having their car paid off right away. Mine was paid off in 26 days. They said it usually takes 30 days. I made 1 payment in that 26 day time period, I told them that and they sent me a check priority mail the next day to reimburse me.

Brad Benson is ok in my book.
