ok just got my used evo already had some problems got fix but anyway does 1st gear sould like a reverse gear, only 1st or do i have a problem with transfer case?

 

do you hear it when accelerating or decel?

 

both sounds just like driving in reverse

 

should be normal, evo's 1st gear is loud and whiny

 

You should try to compare it to someone else's car. I have had 2 evo's now and they do make some noise in all gears. But not as loud as in reverse. If you do not know anybody that has one go to the dealer and test drive one.
