Question Dealership question........sorry kind of long

I took my car in a couple weeks ago to get my 5th gear synchro replaced and my right wheel well (plastic piece) replaced for what happend in the past. When I dropped my car off, the service manager checked my car and pointed out every dent and scratch out so just incase somebody couldn't say that they did something. When I go to pick it up three days later, I found out that the service manager ordered the wrong part but my synchro was replaced. I was perfectly fine at that point and asked when I should bring my car in. The sales manager told me to call the service manager to find that out.

Before I got into my car to go home, I checked it visually and I found two deep scratches on my hood that I knew weren't there when I dropped it off. I asked the sales manager if he can come over here and check it out. He came over and tried taking it off with some cleaner at the dealership but it was too deep. I asked him if he could document this and tell the service manager about this. He told me that he would leave him a voice mail in a little bit. So I go home and call the service manager the next morning and explain the situation that occurred and he believes that he didn't do it. I told him nicely that it wasn't when I dropped it off and I had a similar problem like this when I brought my car in other times but I didn't complain since it wasn't that big of a deal. The service manager told me again that he didn't do it and said that he will call me when my wheel well piece comes in. Now it has been over two weeks and I didn't get an answer from the dealership. I am wondering what I should do to resolve this matter because honestly I really don't want to take my car to that dealership again.

Call the dealership again. I know it's a pain in the butt but repeated tries to resolve the problem amicably shows the judge (in case you have to sue) that you have made every attempt at a compromise. Document every phone call you make and with whom you spoke to. Also document when and who promised a call back. Write a letter and send it certified mail if they continue to ignore you. If everyone fails, file a claim with the BBB. Call the Attorney General's office. Finally take them to court. Hopefully the issues become resolved before it gets this far. Good luck to you.
