evo exuast dilema....

Alirght guys here it goes.... currently i have a downpipe on the car with the stock exuast..... i just orderd a test pipe that i will be replacing the cat with. im contemplating leaving the stock catback, i already made a post about this and alot of people said the stock catback is realy going to restrict and cuase the DP and TP to give me very small gains... is this true? if i was going to put a catback on the car it would be a very very quite one and i was leaning towards the greddy SP2... wich would probally yield only about 5-6 whp? is that correct... and for me that 5-6whp from the exuast isnt worth 550 bucks.. so do you think i should leave the stock catback or go with the sp2? if not what is another very quite exuast that would yield decent gains. my goal of this car is to keep it very stealth... i plan to make some decent power eventualy but keep the car dead quite and stealth.... so what do you guys think? thanks for all your help

why do you want it so quiet, definately get a good catback, you could always get a hfc or a resonated test pipe to keep volume down, i know the turbo xs exhaust has a fat resonater in it and is pretty quiet compared to my exhaust. i would buy the txs cat back because it is badass and sounds really good

make sure your downpipe isnt 3 inch in diameter if you plan to stick with your stock catback, if it is then replace it with a 2.5 inch one.

buschur sells a 2.5 inch dp, a 2.5 inch test pipe and an axle back muffler for your stock catback, you could try that
