also got mine from ebay. not too sure if same manufacturer..fitment is perfect.... i didn't use the test pipe but got a resonated one, also from ebay for about $50 shipped.... you won't regret it.... although right now i'm a little tired of the jdm slant and super shiny exterior...kinda like to have a stealthy looking one in the future.

Tubing is tubing, there is no difference. Get a different muffler if you don't like the sound.

Ebay exhaust

Take a look at the close-up of the silencer (below). The piping is barely 1 1/2". That is 1" LESS than stock. Sure you can remove it but then you will be really LOUD.

In addition, the muffler piping my be less than 3" (as previously mentioned) and it may have cheap, or no sound suppression material.

Buyer beware...

I doubt it would be much if any louder than the rest of the exhausts that are of similar design. As kyle first standed its hard to screw up pipe so even if the muffler sucks and its way to loud he could swap out the test pipe for a resonated one and buy a muffler he likes better and get it welded on at a muffler shop.
Its only $250 In my opinion you cant go that wrong

Where is the deal?

Start off by spending $250 + $50 for shipping

If you don't like the muffler, budget another $150 for a decent replacement (parts and shipping).

Now you have to find a quality shop who can TIG weld for another $150 and hope it looks good.

That's $600 for a system with no engineering behind it.

Just something to think about...

I just don't think the whole R&D issue is as important when it comes to an exhaust. If you have 3" throughout, you will make the same gains as any other 3" system.

Now if you don't like the muffler and want to get another one, then that is a different story, and I agree with you.

All most of these companies do is take another popular name brand exhaust and make a copy of it.. I stand by my previous statement it should work fine and I think you will be happy with it

listen to the sound clips ( you can find it on the first page of this thread, someone posted the review of it and it has the sound clip)

the exhaust sounds AWSOME and its not even that loud..and i doubt its any louder than any other muffler out there

If it is a sound issue, people might be better off going with a Megan in the first place, still at half the price of all the JDM madness. All but one (of my customers) have liked the deep, yet not obnoxious sound of it... and most agree it looks better too.

There are other less JDM expensive options also.

Saw this turboback in person and on an Evo. It look good, but the seller said the DP wont fit right, I believe on the Evo with ACD.
