Not sure what other jap. econobox I have ever sat in makes me comfortable to ride alongside Porsches.

watch the behind the scenes part of the fast and furious movies and hear about everything they tore up on the cars during the making of the movies
unless you are rich you don't need to be doing the same things...notice they have several cars for each car in the movie...because they completely tear them to pieces
what you see in the movies is not considered taking care of your car
and you wonder why doesn't want to honor the warranty on an evo

I think you may have missed my point. I was trying to iterate that what people do with their car(s) is their business, we have no right to judge or look down upon them. Personally I dont like drag racing....but prefer spirited mountain/curvy road driving, as well as building a 400-450 hp evo. Some like all the bling bling, but I dont mock them...I may laugh but that is my taste, not theirs . Some people look at my car and think "wow a stock looking evo...what is so special about it?"

Is that 10.5 hotside include your 20g? As far as im concerned you really dont have any mods done to your car to be pulling on a modded IX... I invested little to no money on my car and i have about 50 more WHP on the same dyno..
Exlplain a little better.
Last time i checked the IX's dont come with 20G's they come with 16's with some beef to them

Overrated compared to what??? I think that posts like these show an inability for people to think outside of the box. Have you seen brand new Mustang/ GTO/ Viper at the drag strip, now they are overrated. What do you want for that kinda of money??? Nothing else is as versatile as an EVO, or at least nothing sold in America that is.
If anything I think that the EVO is underrated and that to many young people are buying them because of movies and to street race and not for road racing and track time where they shine. If I paid 30-35k for a car and I thought that it was overrated then I would sell it immediately and I suggest the same to all here.
