They tested a bunch of cars from 2 Fast 2 Furious, including the green Evo VII. The Evo managed only a 15.4 in the 1/4, while the pink S2000 did a 13.9! They did say that most of the cars were Hollywood versions that had extra crap in them for filming and they probably weren't tuned optimally.

Probly not a real Evo but a Lancer with a kit. 15's in an Evo without launching? That just don't compute.

 

They said it felt like an Evo, kind of. "Rode hard and put away wet" was the quote I believe.

 

Could have extra weight from the movie, anytihng they might have added to it, to produce the movie. I doubt it was a Lancer instead of an EVO with all the cars they have in the movie already.

I have it taped... Yes it's a real EVO VII... Did great on the skid-pad... Can't explain the high 1/4 times cause they didn't actually show it... What is wierd is that they said they filmed it in January or February I think... But in the background, they have a red EVO VIII parked there... ?? Strange...

 

its true it is an Evo VII because Paul Walker was interviewed on TRL and he said that the car he drives was an Evo VII

 

I bet Paul Walker never heard of an Evo until they told him that's what he would be drving.

I heard Paul Walker actaully knows his ****. And he even has a Skyline of his own before the 1st movie even came out.

 

yeah.. that's what i heard too..he was already into cars when tftf came out, but after his role, he started getting into circuit racing and junk like that

 

MTV is showing the making of Ludacris' song for the movie "Act a fool"! In the video they show the Evo with the hood open and it does have a 4g63 motor! Also I think that Luda's NSX has the worst paint job ever.
