I'm sure there's a little redneck hillbilly in all of us.

I had a friend who went from highly modded WRX to a Nissan Titan. The titan lasted 2 months before he traded it in on a 350z

The world is running out of petrol, its going to go up again. It will be very high next year (as usual)

I've owned all the fastest sports cars for years and never had a truck before. I also ride motorcycles too (2000 Yamaha R1) and would like to have a truck to tow it to races. I also own a 2004 Ford Expedition too but it's not a truck. All my vehicles are paid off already but looks like I'm getting the truck fever. For some reason, I can't stop looking at trucks. Nothings ever happened like this before. My wife won't let me get a truck because she said I would get tired of it after a couple months. I don't know. I'm confused!

Happens to all of us, dude. It's the age. I mean, just the other day, i bougt a couple of 4x4 magazines (Japanese) for a friend and I'm now seriously consideing a Toyota FJ (pic posted already) instead of the new M3 when it comes out. I know it's not a truck, but after a while, one kindda gets a bit fed up with it all and just want something different. Anyway, I'd get the truck.

Hopefully you'll keep it for more than a few months. Its resale value prolly won't nosedive like evos so even if you sell it after a year or two (incidentally when the EvoX comes out) it won't be too bad on the finances...

OT...

We are most likely going to become militarily involved with Iran in the not-so-distant future. The US already has several hundred stealth military personnel in Iran gathering information about potential bombing targets. Whoever ends up doing the deed (the U.S. or Israel) Iran will respond by closing the Straight of Hormuz through which about 70% of the world's oil is shipped. If that happens, get ready for a huge spike in oil prices...
