Woaann woan woanp. Ok So the Six wins cause mitsu Sacrafises Some Stabalizer bar strength and Softer Struts on the IX, But imo the IX has a bit more of a sharper better put together look. You can make your IX faster than a VI with some mods, well if you have the FQ320, lol we need quite a bit more I guess. We are about 150 hp off.
stupid lady cant drive the IX yet, she obviously LOVES the VI and drove it quite often... Not surprised with the result.. DRIVER ERROR can be .25 of a second in itself.
Ill take my IX anyday.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
I have seen that before, but never noticed these things.
Thats a modded 6 -- Listen to her first brake and turn in. There is brake squeal. Aftermarket pads? And look at the tail end. Def. has a cat-back.
So take what you wish from the combaro. And driver error can make up that difference easy.
She says it herself - she has driven the 6 more than the 9, advantage to the 6.

I know its tough in the States b/c the first Evo to come here was the VIII but I have to say that around the world the Evo VI is widely considered to be the best example of the Evo ever created. The 6.5 TME being the icing on the cake (though not a fair comparison to any of the previous or subsequent models being some a particular effort on the part of Mitsu. Of course, over time the refinements to the Evo make each subsequent model a better tuning platform, VI included, but straight out of the box...the VI is hard to beat.
