Can anyone please tell me where this dangling wire goes and what it is? i found it like this when going to change my oil today.

 

that is the wire for your oil temp guage. only the mrs have it with the quage kit

I could be wrong but that looks like something for your oil temp gauge...just a guess.

thanks, does anyone have a pic of where it plugs into, i figured thats what it was i just cant seem to find where to plug it back in to, maybe im blind, idk lol

If you're laying under the car (right side facing the passenger side), check behind the undertray to the right. It should be there somwhere close to the edge.

 

i dont have a pic and i dont seem to remember where it goes. i am sure if u look around a little u whil find where it goes. probably on the back side of the engine towards the firewall.

i fallowed the wire the best i can. i goes towards the passenger side by the suspention and up behind the plastic under tray. u might have to take the undertray off to get to the plug. i pulled a little on the wire and it seemed as if it goes up a little. i cant see any more unless i lift the car. try searching for oil guage wire and see what pops up. thats my .02$
