whats up
just bought the VG oem from mitsu and I noticed that the ends of the VG do not sit flush with the top, id figure since they are for MR's that have aluminum roof, they are probably shaped a lil squarer on the ends of the top of the roof, so in order to combat this issue where the VG lifts up at the ends, you need to get a soldering gun and heat it up, and then round it out on the ends and keep going a backward motion as your sliding the gun into the VG's walls underneath, this will melt the plastic and the paint and will still keep the visual apparence beacuse you pusshing the melted plastic underneath, any excess plastic as your shearing off the edges, you simply use your fingers while its hot, but quickly flick it off the VG or rub it inside the VG (underneath)
by the way, I ran into complications with the top clip of the weather striping (the clip on the roof) you need to get an L allen wrench or something with an L shape and unclip the top clip since theres a lock on the clip that clips to a hook from the body.
--attention--
For those of you who have installed the VG on their evos, what do you guys do in order to resolve the loose weather moulding where it ends underneath the trunk? I noticed that the manufacturer uses the silicone from the windshield itself to hold the clip and prevent it from moving down there, now its a lil loose since i pulled it out of the silicone, any ideas? its not snug as it used to, ill probably have to silicone it down there to the windshield silicone

i havent worked my vehicle to its limits without a VG, i dont think ill notice the difference with the VG on, I do hear however wind breakage if I go like 75+ sound like a swoooosssshhhhhhhhh but very low decibels hardly noticable but still present if you can make your ears subtract vehicle/ambient noise, does anyone know where to get a review on the VG ?
