yea i live in the dallas area and I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get my evo dyno flashed. And how to take off the rev limiter.

 

there are a couple different ways. first you could find out if there are any respected evo tuners within driving distance. second you could send your ecu out to be flashed. and third, which is the best buy yourself a tactrix cable, download ecuflash and have a tuner email you a flash for your mods. start looking here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/fo...play.php?f=179

 

Al takes the top speed limiter off and moves the redline up 200 rpm,s to 7800 with the flash. you did say dynoflash so i,m assuming thats who you mean. (Big Al).

What do you mean by "and how to take off rev limiter"? I don't understand why you'd want no rev limiter - that is very dangerous.

Assuming you have a laptop. But if so, go with this

 

If you want to remove the 5k limiter before your flash, then disconnect the switch. We've discussed many times in many threads. Just search for the thread that shows you exactly where the switch is under the driver's side dash. Otherwise, wait for the 28th to get custom flashed, at which point your launch limiter will be set to 6000 rpm.

Uh, down below like I said. Have you not just looked? It's where all the other vendor forums are. I'm beginning to think you didn't mean to say Dynoflash. You do know Dynoflash is a company that flashes Evos, right? Al is Dynoflash.

i have one but i dont use it to flash my rom. i just use a 6ft usb port extension

 

Call Kingpin if you want a local tuner to flash your Evo. They are located on Inwood just south of the Lemmon Inwood intersection in the Subaru building across from ParkCities Ford. Or you can try to get on the list for Al (DynoFlash), he will be here for three days doing base and custom flashes. If you only want a base flash you can just show up because it only takes ten minutes but if your wanting a custom flash you have to get on the list.
