I love this post. I have felt the same way for so long. AWDTurbo4 gets the gold star. Personally, the small pictures make me kringe, and I have to search elsewhere for a good sized pic. If I find one, I usually go back to the vendor of my choice.

Small pics scream lazyness to me.

 

thats something that has always gotten to me.
no problem putting small/cropped pix to make the pages load faster, but atleast put a link to a full size picture so I can see what I'm spending my money on.

another thing I hate but somewhat understand is taking money for stuff thats out of stock, I'd love to buy things that are in stock and ready to shop, reason I now call all the places to order and yet some of them lie, others tell you straight "we have to order it, it will take upto x-amount of days".

 

You know alot of these vendors have very good relations with their customer base, they could for example ask if anyone with photography experience would be willing to sit down and take inventory for them at a reasonable fee

Fan bases do make web sites better
