What color looks the best in everyday use?

Hey guys,

I am picking up my EVO in about 2 days. Which color looks the best in the long run? I am debating between red, yellow, and blue. I have seen these colors when the cars were nice and clean but what do they look like after a week or two worth of road grime on them? Also, which will look the best after 2-4 years?

Thanks,
Bobby

I like the yellow AND the blue.....

Flip a coin, or write the three colors down and then pull it out of your hat!

Get the blue. Red cars are prone to fading.

I would think the yellow would show dirt kinda fast. My friend has a red; obviously can't comment on fading yet, but it seems to hide everyday dirt well.

I ended up with Silver on mine. Figured it's the easiest to keep nice. Of the 3 you listed, I'd go with red.
My red 95 GSX still looks great. No fading, and the car has never been garaged. It has been on the streets since Sept '94.

Silver. Looks nice even filthy... just gets less metallic/shiny as it gets grungy. Red tends to require lots of maintenance to keep it from fading, yellow shows dirt (had a zinc yellow '01 Mustang Gt, real PIMA to keep nice and clean looking), and any dark color looks dirty 10 minutes after washing.

Hmmm.....I dont like silver, black, or white.

So this is the conclusion?

Red = Prone to fading, hard to keep clean
Yellow = Hard to Keep Clean
Blue = nothing negative?

Please keep em coming!!

I have the "Blue By You", and it hides the dirt really well. Also, it stands out as a brighter shade of blue, but isn't overstated.

Rule of thumb... Really dark colors, and really light colors generally show dirt very quickly.. Medium colors are safest.. Which means Silver, possibly red or blue.. Everything gets a little dull when dirty, but anything that shows alot of contrast with the dirt will be OBVIOUS.. Yellow will actually not show dirt all that much for a light color.. But it depends on the dirt and how grungy the car gets in a week.. Hope that helps..

Silver is the "Signature" color by and it is featured in all press by .

Not only that, it is the color choice for the Millenium according to the "experts"..

Wait, actually, get any other color than silver...Theres plenty of them out there already...

Silver looks best for everyday because it hides dirt and scratches, but of the ones you listed I would get the Blue.....looks nice.
