I might be the only one with this problem but I've had my car for almost a year and I've realized that my brake lights don't illuminate until my pedal is pushed halfway down. I alwya thought those were supposed to be very sensitive and as soon as you touch the pedal they go on. When i'm sitting at a light with my foot on the brake my brake lights aren't on because i'm not putting a significant amount of pressure on the pedal. When i stop slowly my brake lights are still not on. Only when i apply pressure to the pedal halfway willl the light go. Is this a common problem and is there an adjustable switch?
