How do you remove the door sills?

Trying to run a few wires from the front of the car to the trunk. I pulled on the plastic pretty hard and it didnt snap off. Is there a secret to getting them out without screwing up the plastic?

Im talking about the piece of plastic you see when you open your door at the bottom

thanks

Grab, Pull up, Repeat.

You could probably use a putty knife or something similar to get some more leverage closer to the clip but, shouldn't need it.

Just pull them up, they are held down by push-clips...
