That doesn't seem like much power to me at all. Especially on pump.

My friend put down 500whp (@ 24psi) on pump gas on his AMS GT35r. They backed it down to 422whp @ 20psi for a safe daily driver. This is on a low reading DD Dyno too. Not sure if it's a similar 35r or what.

I think his car is somewhat of a freak, but still I would think you should be well above the 400whp mark with a 'big' turbo. What size injectors are you running?

Straight pump dude, told ya the car was a freak. Oh, and he had JUN 272's on it; which are about the most agressive cams you can get - but tons of power. I'm sure they factored in.

I'll try to dig up the thread.

He did 482whp on pump gas with Kelford cams. The bigger number I mentioned earlier was with the JUN 272's in. 1000cc injectors.

Anyways, wasn't trying to go O/T. Just thinking this guy should be seeing more power.

yes its holding power on the street to 8000rpm...i would have gone ams route but paying 5grand is not what i want to do...your buying a name right there, but dont get me wrong its a sweet set up but for 2 grand less i still saw 500awhp!!
and i dont know if you heard it made 385awhp on 18 ..19 psi..all i had to do iss add a lil more boost on pump and i know i could have seen least 420s. does your friend live anywhere ohio?

I'm wondering why you didn't go with Buschur since he is in Ohio.

I have been very good friends with Corey (Owner of Slowmotion) for about 2 years now. I recommended Garrett to Corey for a turbo kit. This is Slowmotions first Evo Turbo Kit. Buschur is close don't get me wrong, but I'd like to keep the family together so to speak....

Thanks
Anthony

Impressive numbers but why is there a slight drop in your power band? That doesn't look right imo. And full boost at 5500 rpm's? What size is your back housing? My turbo spools much sooner with an .82 back.

Isn't 500 at the wheels a little dodgey on stock internals? Yeah sure you have the fueling to handle it (amazing for 1 little pump eh?) but I bent a standard rod at 320hp on my Evo 6!

I'll stick with Shearer for my 37r. My favorite welder is there!
