New "look", parked it at the World of Wheels, to promote the event. Let lots of kids sit in the car, and get their photos taken "Behind the wheel". Was fun. The Orange is lots BRIGHTER in natural lighting.

If you happen to "spot" something else.................. Congrats!

I'm trying to register but i get stuck at

Home brewed methanol/ethanol/alcohol mixtures - only 100% petroleum-based, retail available gasoline permitted
0-59 UTQG treadwear tires are not allowed
Interior gutting - all cars MUST have full interior, although it does not need to be stock

Then I hit next but nothing happens....

Just a heads-up on what is going on:
Registration to race has a little over 4 weeks to go, so if you want to join a team and compete in WWIII, you should get in BEFORE registration closes Mid March. Again, you don't have to have a modded car, OR Expierence to enter! You will be in a class with the same type of car you drive now!! Don't be intimidated........seriously. Enter with a friend if you want, and you can duke it out together.
If you want to enter the GENERAL Car/bike/truck show, that PRE-registration will open within the week, and you can even register for that at the gate if you want to, on May 12th.
Anyone interested in becoming a Vendor, you can also contact us about "Early Bird" registration on that also, BIG savings on that as well. Great place to market/sell your products in front of TONS of people-Great exposure for you.
The registrations are coming in all the time, and this event is shaping up to be a doozy! It is going to be LOTS OF FUN! Don't delay on getting in, if you do, you just might kick yourself if you decide to join after it's too late!

nice to see this is well advertised... i just posted in the thread on Supraforums

anyway i still dont know if my supra is going to be done in time, and im damn sure the Evo wont be done in time...

do i need to front the registration fee? if i do and end up not being able to make it, do i get the fee back or is it yours to keep? can i bring a different car in place of mine?

and once again, have you found out how tight theyre going to be on the rules? im 99% sure i wont meet NHRA spec by the time this even rolls around

car will be going low 9s high 8s and all im going to hvae is a 6pt, harness, firesuit, driveshaft loop, sfi crank pulley, trans scatter shield... i dont have enough time to convert to the 12pt with chute

Hi there!! You DON'T have to pay the 100 up front, and you can change cars if one is not done on time, no problem. We won't keep your money. The rules will be Tuesday Night rules, more "lax" then a national event. Worst case scenario, you get in ONE BLAZING RUN, and they boot you....... Sign something up my friend! Join the Chicago Convoy on the way down also. You have Friday Night before the event for some "test and tune" runs if you want also. I will talk to you later..........here or on the Supraforums!

if i do the test & tune on friday and break out of my safety requirements will i not be able to run the next day?

cuz i think what i will do if figure out my boost level to run a time that i can compete with.. and then go all out on my last pass

LOL!!! i just calculated my points... seems i have 119pts added to my Class C +15... does that make me Clas A+++++?

thnk i can get away with pretending im still stock? I swear its stock!

I will check that out for you. I forgot to mention, it doesn't have to be YOUR car either, you can drive a car NOT registered to you if you want.

Eric (a guy from Indy) has a white Supra, and he was not "NHRA" legal when he went to the Truck Bash last year- same track we will be on. Eric he made it to the final round, when his opponent called him out to the officials (Who did a Tech on the car earlier), and they told him he was "disqualified" for not having a cage. They were racing for money though, so that is when the crybaby antics started. I think they will be soft on you here, but am not sure how it will go on the Friday, race on Saturday deal. I will get back with you on that. Great question.

its not about money for me... its about the show

id rather be the guy who went down in the last round going 1 second under his allowed time then being the guy who had to baby his car to get a trophy

Go big or go home.. and if you have to go home for being big, then everyone else is just a ***** - My motto

EDIT**

can i be driver for 2 cars? lets say i enter my Supra as a drag only car and my evo as an autox only car... can i do that?

Since there is no money on the line here, we shouldn't have to worry about crying from anyone. We are all getting together for a great cause, and a fun day at the track anyway.

The driver has to drive one car. Doesn't have to be registered to you. You can register both, but you will need 2 drivers. Hope that helps.
