Angry HKS filter need 1 NOW!!! vendors?

Damnn where can I find it....maybe just the plastic part?
I couldt install this by myself 2 year ago after a motorcycle accident (long story)
so I took it to racing zone in Orlando, 2 years later (last week) I took it off for the first time to find out it was cracked I put some JB weld on it but it didnt hold and this is what I have now.

sorry to hijack your thread, but this gives me the perfect chance to ask this question.

Does that honey comb desgn HKS has stabilize the readings for the MAF?

Just wanted to get somebodys takes on it, i know some of the other aftermarket ones throw off the MAF readings.

Here is your chance to ditch one of the worst intakes for the Evo. Buy a K&N and replace that garbage.

Ditch this filter, it sucks and the filtering is terrible. Go with Apexi or K&N.

ok one more question...I'm going back to the stock box and put a K&N drop-in.

Is it ok to use the HKS maf pipe with the factory filter box?..Look like it will fit but I wanted to make sure theres no problem with that.

anyone?

thanks guys!

That would be so easy to fix with just a similar diameter piece of plastic or aluminum slieved over. You dont have to clamp down in that area at all and anything will seal.

The HKS filter element does let debris by when filter is old or has been washed. If you dont live in dusty areas and change filter often I say keep it.

did you say 2 years ? I thought you are supposed to change those filters at each oil change ?? 3-5k miles or so.

I was going to do that as well but that plastic thing is so fragile that it is not going to hold. maybe the heat or something. so I trimmed/sanded the rest for now until I decide what to do with it

I got a POS cone filter on it now...I want go back to the factory airbox..but I need to find a mass pipe to fit the stock box with out any mod....hood wont close with the HKS rs kit mass pipe
