Vandalized.

Last night, on my way home from a great tune with Jestr. Someone broke into my car, while i was getting dinner. The passenger window was broken, my EDFC unit was pulled out of its resting place in the ashtray. It wasn't damaged or anything, I have to just remount it. My cell phone was stolen, my CDs were stolen, and for some reason my gas tank was open. =( It was at the Seminole Mall in Sanford. But anyway, I'll have pics later.

They coulda opened the gas tank by mistake, trying to open teh trunk. I had my car broken into last June, luckily nothing was stolen, but it still sucks. Hope things turn out for the best.

That would be a hate crime if they put stuff in your gas tank. They were probally trying to get into your trunk and just accidently opened the gas tank also.

Yeah, I was in an area no one knew me in. I was just passing through. A few other cars with systems got broken into in the mall area, as well.

There have been stories in New Jersey of people stealing gas by siphoning it out, but you got to be a really poor scumbag to steal gas from other people.

It was weird, though. They left my radar detector, didn't damage the exterior. Pretty much a smash and grab situation.

Damn that sucks bro. With these sport/rally cars, you gotta watch them like a hawk all of the time. That's what i do everytime i'm on an unfamiliar place but i know there are some cases where u can't watch it all of the time like at the mall or at the movie theather...

Well, everything was repaired today, window, etc. Got a few dings removed by Aldent, I guess they were hitting the door with their knee's when climbing in. I ran the car almost to empty, the engine is fine, thank god! Only thing left now is retinting the window, so it doesn't look like I could only afford three LOL.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. They Broke my passenger side window, took stereo and my PSP. These guys did such a great job at taking my stereo. Its just amazing. They uncrewed everything and the stereo trim around was not even broken. Had to buy the stock brackets to put stock stereo back, plus window, plus tint. What an expensive day.
