AEM UEGO users....impressions??

How do u like the guage? Is it accurate? Is it worth the 300 bucks they are charging for it? Is there another guage that will do the job better (Zeitronix)?

LMK because I am looking into putting together a group of guages that actually are accurate and function properly. Seems to be pretty hard to find accurate guages even if you are spending 200+

Worst wideband on the market. Worst range. Does not read below 11.0AFR so it is basically designed for non-turbo vehicles.

I heard that it has "output" below 11.0:1 AFR that can be read by most EMS(not tested it myself). But not sure who is the genius that decided that their gauge should only read down to 11.0:1

We just tuned an AEM where it could not read any lower when using its logger. Not sure if there is any truth to that.

Dunno bout you guys. Mine reads 10-17. I like it, I might sell it and step up to a Zeitronix if I can find a way just to mount the LCD part somewhere. I dont want the entire box chillin on my steering column.

Anyone ever open one up or take pics of how it looks on the inside?

The Older Version only read to 11, the newer 6 in 1 style reads to 10.

I think they may have revised the range later on in the manufacturing process.

There is no logging of the AEM unit available unless using a standalone like AEM 1313.

How about the Innovate LM-1? It has a gauge available and logging capabilities...

It is my opinion that Zeitronix is the best available for the money, features, no need for add-on AUX-BOX units and logs Lambda, AFR, RPM, TPS, Auxiliary input 0-5v all in the cheapest base unit you can buy for $274. It will log up to 9 hours of data when the included serial output is hooked to a laptop.

Add Black LCD as pictured here for another $100.

TTP Eng: Did you have to paint/coat that LCD housing or it came in that color? (Mine's silvery aluminum color)
I agree it's a kick@$$ setup for the money!

The original color that Zeitronix used to come in were silver. Black is actually a factory anodized color option. TTP-Engineering orders 100% of stocking Zeitronix in black since the new color was released.
