It's a well rounded sports sedan with great modability, fair/good reliability, and relatively cheap. For the under 35K market it's hard to beat IMO if the most important attribute is performance.

 

First I can go to the track then I can go to the snow after, on the way back I can beat some v 8 cars while carrying passengers and then carry tons of groceries on the way home.

 

Because a stock Evo is arguably the quickest, best handling car for ~$30K.

Because for only ~$4K-$5K in aftermarket parts and labor, the Evo has the power and handling of a Porsche GT3, and it seats five comfortably too.

 

The Evo is so great because I am HONDA to the death and I drive one.
