I came from an '04 SRT-4 with stage 2, 3" TBE, lowering springs and a few other things. Honestly the only thing I miss is the cost of maintenance. I owned both for a short period of time so I had a chance to compare them first hand. The Evo is one of the best handling cars on the planet out of the box. You also realistically never have to worry about putting extra power to the ground. The aftermarket is deep and, rain or shine, it gets out of the gate like a rocket. How much do you owe on your SRT-4? What year is it and what have you done to it?

There shouldn't be any hesitation in buying an evo if finances permit.
Once you drive awd vehicle, you would never go back to fwd car again.
No more torque steer and constant understeer.

i'd get an evo if i were you. but as for the torque steer and constant understeer. it's still there if you have an 03-04 model. a front wheel LSD will remedy the problem a bit, but without it, the evo still feels mildly like a FF car. we (03) guys don't suffer from all the electrical tranny components <---- no pun intended to the ACD guys, it's just that i love the mechanical feel and driver responsiveness when it comes to not having ACD. ACD does make a difference so i'd suggest you to get an MR.
