Help with Hesitation

Hey, i have an evo 9 rs and just installed an rnr racing front mount with an injen intake. Stoopid me decided to run my stock bov to vta haha. Now everytime im on the freeway doing 80+ and slowly press the gas into boost the car hesitates alot! it goes and slows down, over and over. The only time it doesnt hesitate is when i completely depress the gas. Is this due to the stock bov that i made vta? or is there a boost leak or something? or is it because of the bigger front mount? or do i need a tune? im going to recirculate my stock bov soon and just wanted to know if that was the reason.. Thanks guys!
