Zeus, the bike really doesnt give you that same satisfaction?
...yes it is very different, and fun, but it just does not quench the same thirst. Contrary to popular misconception, cars can corner harder, and stop shorter than most bikes... and of course there are those cars that can accelerate faster too. I have specific examples of personal experience with the first two, however my account along with the riders remarks after wards are not allowed in this forum due to the venue.

In short, of course I like the bike... I am about 2mins from walking out the door for some seat time right now. However, it will never be a replacement for the Evo. If that is what you are thinking, I'm afraid you might be disappointed.

...again, they are fun though!

Making responsible financial choices is a must as a parent, however, giving up your happiness just makes one bitter in the end. The wife and I found that life was a bit smoother after we realized that we still needed our individual hobbies. We just had to make accommodations to allow each other to do so.

In other words, all work and no toyz can make for more friction than not. My projects went on hold, not away...

Instead of selling everything, for the college fun. You should of kept your evo and not eyeball that Gt35r kit. , or whatever upgrade that comes down the road.

what i dont understand is how come you didnt get an SUV? I mean yeah it blows you have to get rid of your evo but at least get an SUV instead of a mini van. Anyhow good luck with the sale and future cars!

How about a Forester XT? It's bigger and faster than the WRX.

stick with the minivan if you gonna be going the multi passenger route. SUVs are bigger, heavier, much worse on the gas mileage, and if you have ever worked at a hardwarestore/lumberyard you know first hand SUVs have a very ****ty cargo capacity, no room to fit **** in them (the excursions back door is like 16 inches thick...), and the minivan is far more versatile. removed a few rows of seats and you have a pickup truck. seriously... a 4x8 foot sheet of drywall will lay flat in a minivan. not a chance in a SUV. think that makes a difference? wait till your remodeling your bathroom or kids room instead of installing the coilovers in the evo.
