Have you driven with 272's or 280's?
I have BC 280'S it just depends on what you want to do with your car 272 are a all around good street cam but 280's are the big dogs. If you are going to stay with a stock turbo stay 272 but if you are going big get the 280

Its a hard decision. From what I hear 280's are perfectly fine using with your stock turbo. Anyone have experience with 280's on stock turbo? Does anyone have experience with a 272 280 combo?
I remember having to make this choice a long time ago. I went with HKS 272's. Just make up your mind and pick some.
Also the cam swap was not that hard to perform, you can always change your mind and put in a different pair.

I just had HKS 272s installed in my '03 VIII. I'm sure this is entirely dependent on cam gear settings, but there is a noticeable lope to the idle. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it simply isn't comparable to the idle with stock cams. There are plenty of people who get good results with the 280s as well. In my case I felt that for a street car, the 272s were aggressive enough.

baselined at 285whp w/ the cams installed untuned. After tuning, I made 328whp on 91 octane stock turbo.
