Keyless Entry Remote Instructions

i just got an extra remote for my keyless entry. and it the one that came with my car only has lock and unlock. and the new one has also the trunk button. now is it compatible or not. and if it is .. how the f*ck do i program it ?! someone please help.
i have an 02' oz rally. and if anyone is wondering why i dont look it up in the manual, its bc i dont have it ... hah

The Lancer does not have a powered trunk release. There is no way to use the "Trunk" button without perhaps rigging the equipment from a vehicle with the feature.

Those vehicles include the Diamante and the Montero. Chances are the new SUV (what the hell is that thing called...Endeavor?) will use it as well.

Sorry to disappoint, but the remote will only serve you in the same manner and your existing units.

Maybe you can get a Eclipse remote and also have a Panic button, but that's just pointless anyway.

As for programming the remote, without the handbook, you're in trouble. The only way to figure it out would be to check with the service department.

Why no book for the remote? You gank it or something?

Well .. the car was a 907A .. salvage .. so basically .. everything got jacked .. like the manual .. shift knob . floor mats .. and my damn tire truck. so thats why .. does anyone know how much the service manual goes for at the dealership? or what about key copies ..?
